“BIOBITES”
For my first group project at University, I was set the broad task of creating an “anti lab-grown meat” campaign.
We answered this brief in a unique way by creating branding for an American diner style restaurant that is ironically proud of its lab-grown menu. This challenging part of this was making sure our message wasn’t lost.
The final brand guidelines featured hazardous colours, imperfect designs & ironic restaurant assets.
This brief allowed me to work on my group skills. I was taught how important the actions of communication, compromise & conflict resolution are in the professional world. I also learnt the valuable lesson of separating my emotions from my work.
The most enjoyable part of this project, other than working alongside my peers, was the absurdity of the direction we chose to take.
